Job Description
George Fox University is seeking to fill multiple part-time, adjunct instructor positions in the Department of English and Languages, beginning August 15, 2025. These instructors will teach in-person sections of Writing 111, the university's first-year composition course.
Writing 111 focuses on the writing, argumentation, and critical thinking skills necessary for success in academic and professional environments, including research strategies relevant to contemporary writing contexts. Enrollment in each in-person section is capped at 20 students, and students are required to enroll in the course by their third semester at George Fox.
