LISTEN: Movies That Seemed Like a Big Deal at the Time

Just in time for the big movie awards (barely), Agent X argues that Hollywood ought to wait at least 10 years before deciding what the year’s best picture really was.

Case in point: “Star Wars” lost the Oscar for Best Picture to “Annie Hall,” a good movie, but it’s hard to argue that it was really the best movie of 1977. Speaking of which, “Star Wars” is one of those movies came together in the editing room.
